Career Solutions Executive Director Receives St. Cloud Area Chamber 2020 Diversity Award
St. Cloud, Minn. – Tammy Biery, executive director at Career Solutions, was awarded the St. Cloud Area
Chamber of Commerce Diversity Award for her leadership in promoting and celebrating equal opportunity in
the Central Minnesota business community. The Chamber’s Diversity Recognition acknowledges the exceptional efforts of area businesses and representatives whose visible efforts foster greater appreciation, advancement and celebration of diversity and inclusiveness in the workplace.

2020 Diversity Award
Under Biery’s leadership, Career Solutions works daily to break down employment barriers. Community members age 14+ can utilize their comprehensive workforce development resources to acquire skills, training and experience to achieve family sustaining wages. Businesses in need of employees can receive hiring help, as well as customized cultural training for current staff to improve overall orientation and integration of diverse backgrounds. Because transportation is one of the largest barriers to overcome, staff take their services into the community. Locations include La Cruz Community, Community Outpost, Quarryview Education Center and the Islamic Center.
Biery accepted the Diversity Award at the Chamber’s annual Legislative Connections: Session Wrap Up event held virtually on May 28, 2020.
