Creative Job Search (CJS) – This workshop covers the basics of a successful job search. Topics include preparing for the job search, resume strategies, networking, practice interviews, and more.
Financial Fitness – Presented by TriCAP to help people increase their financial knowledge and gain control over their financial situations.
Interview With Confidence – Approach your next interview strategically. Learn how to respond to behavioral interview questions, research a company, practice responding to questions, and more.
Job Search Over 40 – Use age to your advantage! Discover techniques for marketing your expertise to employers. Explore new job search strategies and resources for the experienced job seeker. (*Offered in even months throughout 2017.)
LinkedIN To Networking – Get the most out of LinkedIn! Improve your LinkedIn profile by learning how to navigate, draft your profile, showcase your expertise, look for jobs, build and use your network. (*Offered in odd months throughout 2017.)
Mock Interview (prerequisite Interview With Confidence Class) – Assess your interviewing skills by practicing a mock interview with one of our staff! Come dressed and prepared for a real interview. At the end, we will offer feedback on your performance.
National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) – The National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) (WorkKeys) is a credential that proves to employers and educational institutions that you have the skills and motivation they seek. This assessment highlights your strongest skills and helps you stand out in a competitive economy.
Skills and Resumes – Discover the skills and accomplishments you offer potential employers. Learn how to create or revise your resume in a way that highlights your strengths.

Resume Review – Take your resume from good to great with help from our staff. Bring a copy of your resume and receive customized feedback.
Online Resume Review – Our staff will review your resume based on current trends and best practices. Email your resume to Resume.Review.Central.DEED@state.mn.us. Feedback will be provided in 2-3 business days
