Tammy Biery – Executive Director

Tammy is responsible for organizing, directing, coordinating, measuring and reporting outcomes about the operations of Career Solutions towards the attainment of plans established by the boards and Council and in compliance with laws, rules, policies, and contracts. Tammy works with multiple programs and partners to use resources to encourage joint participation and collaboration to achieve needed outcomes. She is a board member of the Rotary Club of St. Cloud, and a board member for EPIC, a hands-on career exploration event for high school students in Central MN.

Background: Prior to joining Career Solutions, Tammy was the director of Administrative Services at Resource Training & Solutions and was part of the Executive Leadership Team. She was responsible for operations, managing member communications, and other initiatives that are in alignment with the strategic plan. One of her greatest accomplishments at Resource was to lead the building project, in coordination with strategic alliances, to develop a convertible, collaborative office and education center in Sartell, MN.

Tammy has 20 years of experience in sales and marketing program development that have been designed to support corporate strategic initiatives. She has led teams of all ages in all areas of marketing-product development, packaging, market research, program development, marketing communications, branding, and training.

Jacob Kaduk, GCDF – Client Services Manager

Angie Dahle, GCDF – Business Services Manager

Angie started working for Career Solutions in 2000 where she worked a Career Planner and provided career counseling and coaching to assist individuals in developing attainable career goals.

In 2016 Angie started working as the Business Services Manager. She is responsible for Career Solutions marketing & advertising, coordinating workforce development events, supervising reception & Career Lab staff, serving as one of Central Minnesota’s Rural Career Counseling Coordinators (RC3) for Region 3, serving as a Career Cluster Lead for EPIC (a hands-on career exploration event for high school students in Central MN) and providing Business Services to local employers:

Scott Loesch – Finance Manager

Hometown: Marty (Pearl Lake)

Hobbies: Scott plays softball in a men’s 35 & old wooden bat league in central Minnesota. Scott enjoys spending time with family and working on DIY yard or home projects.

Ann M – Development and Program Manager

Ann joined Career Solutions in 2020. Her role is to build the capacity of Friends of Career Solutions, the 501©3 nonprofit dedicated to supporting the youth programs CareerONE and LEARN and EARN and Immigrant Services. Ann is growing the profile of Friends of Career Solutions, so it may, in turn, increase the number of youth and business participants. The results will create a more vital workforce for Benton and Stearns counties. Ann comes from the nonprofit world with 35 years of experience in programming, marketing, grant writing and fundraising.

Education: B.A., Metro State University

Background: Thirty-four years in the history museum field.

Kari C Executive Assistant

Kari provides administrative support to Career Solutions. She enjoys working at Career Solutions because she knows she can make a difference! Whether that is helping her co-workers with projects or being there for someone when they need extra support, Kari is always there to lend a helping hand.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with Human Resource Concentration from St. Cloud State University (SCSU)

Volunteer Experience: While earning her college education, Kari worked 30+ hours per week, secured an internship and volunteered for the 4-H Horse Program. This volunteering continues throughout her career as it is one of Kari’s passions. She not only educates youth on how to ride horses but she mentors and empowers youth in a positive manner.

Jeni Pederson

Jeni P, GCDF – Outreach & Eligibility Specialist

Education: Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Educational Psychology and Family Social Science, University of Minnesota; GCDF Global Career Development Facilitator Certificate, National Career Development Association

Lisa B, MA – CareerONE Summer Supervisor

Education: BA from College of St. Benedict, St. Joseph, MN and MA from St. Mary’s University, Winona, MN.

Background: Lisa is currently a licensed elementary and middle school math teacher during the school year. She has been a teacher for 20+ years. Lisa has spent most of her teaching career in the 6th grade, but has taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades as well. She coaches junior high volleyball and high school track and field. Lisa has been a part of Career Solutions – Summer CareerONE program since 2002!

What Lisa likes to do in her spare time: Lisa likes to run – she has run 2 marathons, 5 half marathons and dozens of 5K and 10Ks. Lisa is also an avid reader and reads about a book a month.

Judy K, GCDF – Career Planner

Background: Judy has diversified experience and has held roles in administrative positions and human resources

Jankai M, GCDF – Career Planner – Dislocated Worker Team

Background: Jankai has previous experience in retail customer service, as a personal care aide, as a Career Planner Intern and Career Lab Specialist with Career Solutions before joining the Dislocated Worker Team in 2018.

Karen S – Accounting Specialist

Education: Graduate from SCTCC Secretarial Program

Background: Karen worked for Cold Spring Electric Services, Inc., for nearly 30 years as an office manager before joining Career Solutions in 2018.

Hobbies: She enjoys being outside- walking, 4-wheeling, hiking, biking and boating. In the winter she enjoys bingo, crafts, cooking, baking, concerts, sewing and vacationing in warm and sunny U.S. destinations!

Background: Angela has been an Elementary School Teacher and/or Instructional Coach for 20+ years. She loves leading training and professional development. Angela was a member of a local school board for four years and was a member of many committees (hiring, policy, bylaw, leadership, election…) She was also the District Assessment Coordinator at a local charter school working closely with the MN Dept. of Education.

Karen H – Reception & Career Lab Specialist

Background: Karen started working and volunteering in her community in her youth. Karen had the advantage of working on several dairy farms throughout Stearns and Morrison County growing up. Farm-life, sharing her adolescence with 15 nieces/nephews, as well as having a larger family is what contributes to Karen’s hold nothing back, non-conventional thinking, and can-do attitude.
